Cover Comparison

By perusing through my blog, you may have deduced that my love for fashion magazines, and especially the fashion spreads that they contain, is irrevocable. This infatuation with beautiful editorials mainly stems from their aesthetically pleasing styling, photography, scenery, and models. Thus, it is fairly rare for a magazine cover to entice me almost as much as some fashion editorials do. However, there are always exceptions to rules. Fortunately, I have recently found two in the form of Harper's Bazaar Spain's February 2013 cover and Vogue Japan's March 2013 cover.

Ginta Lapina and Lindsey Wixson are both wearing checkered looks from Louis Vuitton's spring 2013 collection. However, both covers are completely unique. While Ginta's posture and smoldering eyes suggest thoughtfulness, Lindsey's sexy pout and pose illustrate femininity. I believe that both Bazaar's and Vogue's covers are superb, but I have to admit my bias towards Lindsey's, since she is one of my favorite models, and I just can't help but love her dress' girly flared skirt.

Which cover do you, lovelies, find more appealing?
